This year's talent show was a huge success! It really showed GRB's school spirit and how much support we are able to show for one another.
The acts that placed were Jea Adams in first. She sang "Valerie" by Amy Winehouse. Luke Kimball performed comedy and earned second place. Nami’s Pitches (Rebecca Bailey, Kira Whitehead, Chloe Hurlbut, Alex Blaine, Ronde Wood, Nick Brown, Anthony Galletta, and Andrew Smith) placed third after singing "Africa" by Toto.
Jea Adams, who took first place, said, “I am happy that I ended up doing the talent show this year. I’m still surprised I won. I didn’t think I was going to place at all but I'm very happy I did!”
Kaylee Foster won Crowd Favorite by singing "So Will I" by Tori Kelly. Jasmine Fauler won Most Unique for playing her flute to "Never Enough" by Loren Allred.
The two charities that HOPE Club picked to raise money for are Girls Rock YMCA and Charity Water. HOPE Club Advisor Mrs. Palmer said, “This year we were able to raise $1900, which we will divide between our two charities.”
Congratulations to everyone who placed and a huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the students in order to help raise so much money.
