By Michael Janaro

Fulton (10-7) faced Cortland (6-12) at Fulton on Tuesday, February 10.

It was starting to look like a blow-out at halftime with Fulton with an 18-point lead coming out the first half. The score was 36-18.

Cortland came out the second half hot and never got cold. They scored 48 points in the second half to overcome the 18-point deficit and beat Fulton.

This was a devastating loss for Fulton, but they were ready to take on Oswego on Wednesday, February 11.

Junior Dominic Abbott stated, "We came out with no energy in the second half."

Varsity Head Coach Sean Broderick stated, "We just had a difficult time guarding them in the second half coupled with a fact that we had a hard time scoring. I am confident our guys will bounce back."

Senior Seth Grimshaw said, "Hard-fought game in the first half but came up short in the second."

Seth Grimshaw was Fulton's leading scorer that game with 22 points. Jack Broderick had 14 points and Dominic Abbott and Marcus Shepard each had 11 points.
