G. Ray Bodley's Student Senate is raising money for hungry children everywhere.

The group has partnered with Kathy's Cakes for a fundraiser that began March 6 and will end April 24.

Some of the delicious desserts they are selling include peanut butter pie, sugar cookies, half moon cookies, apple pie, a tray of brownies, and a dessert box with an assortment of desserts.

Product pickup will be at Kathy's Cakes bakery from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 3.

All money will be due no later than April 24 and will be collected by Student Senate Advisor Ms. Danielle Florio.

Senior Jenna Ruzekowicz said, "We are working very hard to raise money for this very worthy cause, Feeding Children Everywhere. Our goal is to raise four thousand dollars, which will be enough for 10,000 meals. These meals will feed our community over the summer, a time when many children go hungry."

Senior Shaylee Cealie said,"We are really excited to have the opportunity to fund raise for our Feeding Children Everywhere project. We're hopeful we can sell a lot of sweets and raise a lot of money."
