A great deal of talent was on display Friday, April 26 at Bodley's Got Talent.

Bodley's Got Talent - View from the Audience

By Trevor Schleicher

Friday, April 26 was the 11th annual Bodley's Got Talent show.

Many brave and talented students went up on stage and performed in front of a table of three judges and an auditorium full of students and families. Eighteen acts went up in front of the audience to perform. There was a variety of talent on display, including singing, comedy, dancing, duets, and an a capella group. There was a lot of crowd interaction.

I thought everyone who performed did very well as it takes courage and bravery to go up and perform in front of an auditorium full of people. The amount of participation in the crowd to encourage and pump up the performers was inspiring.

Deven Searor, who was dancing to "Step Up to Dance" had the crowd cheering for him as he shocked the audience with his amazing dance moves.

Kaylee Foster, who sang "So Will I" by Tori Kelly had the crowd waving their flashlights on their phones back and forth as she was singing.

Luke Kimball kept the crowd laughing with his hilarious comedy act.

All the other acts were great, too, and had the crowd clapping and cheering after each one!

Senior Steven Thompson said, "The talent show was very entertaining. Everyone put on a great performance."
