Auricular perichrondritis

Most common bacterial infection : Pseudomonas aeruginosa.

พบรองลงมา Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus Pyogenes

Cause

การเจาะหู อุบัติเหตุมีแผลถลอกฉีกขาด กระแทก

Complication

ก่อให้เกิดความเสียหายต่อรูปร่างกระดูกอ่อนได้

อาการ

ปวดบวมแดงใบหู ช่วงแรก คล้ายผิวหนังอักเสบธรรมดา ตรวจแยกโดยการงอหรือบิดดัดหูจะเจ็บมากเมื่อเทียบกับอักเสบที่ผิวหนังธรรมดา

การรักษา

Broad spectrum antibiotic :gm positive and negative : ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin

บางคร้งอาจต้องให้ iv antibiotic

Complication

Perichondrial abscess with poor cosmetic healing
