Glybenclamide (daonil) sulfonylurea gr. Tab 5 mg
started 2.5 mg = 0.5 t ac
up to 5 mg = 1 t ac
up to 10 mg = 2 t ac
max 15 mg = 2-0-1 ac
บางคนใช้ 2-0-2 ac
Initially 2.5 mg daily increasing by 2.5 mg at 3-5 days intervals until optimal metabolic control is achieved.
Max daily dose: 15 mg. หากใช้ขนาดมากกว่านี้พบว่าไม่ได้ผลมากขึ้นMax single dose: 10 mg.
It may be considered that the effect of 1 g tolbutamide or glycodiazine, 0,5 g carbutamide or 250 mg chlorpropamide corresponds roughly to that of 5 mg DAONIL® (1 tablet).
