There is a wind that doesn’t tousle hair

And doesn’t bend branches,

But simply comes from somewhere

And stirs a thought inside of us

And softly swishes like a whisper:

That something far from us exists.

Or bend any trees:

It will arrive once, with ease,

Stir one thought in the air,

And softly say:

There is something far, far away.

Und der keine Bäume biegt

Er kommt einfach so, von nirgendwo

Und bringt einen Gedanken in der Luft zum erklingen
