Ana Ristović

Ana Ristović (born 5th April 1972, Belgrade, Serbia) is a poet and translator. She has published six books of poetry, including Snovidna voda (Dreamwater) (Branko Radičević's Prize), Zabava za dokone kćeri (Party for Lazybones Daughters) (Branko Miljković Prize and the Prize at the Book fair in Igalo), and P.S – Selected Poems (Milica Stojadinovic Srpkinja Prize). She has also received the Hubert Burda Preis, a prize for young European poetry. She has translated 18 books of contemporary Slovenian literature in Serbian language.

Her most recent book is Meteoric Debris. She has won many awards for her work both in Serbia and Germany. She was a featured reader in Southbank Centre's Poetry Parnassus in 2012. She has read her poetry throughout Europe and Latin America.
