This translation of Manimekalai Canto 30 was done for my own understanding. However I hope that the line by line translation will help readers appreciate Aravana Adigals exposition of the Dhamma to Manimekalai. Aravana Adigal gives a summary of the Dhamma, follows up with details and finally finishes with advice on how to overcome the three defilements of mind - greed, hatred and delusion. Overcoming these leads one to freedom.
Many thanks to my father Thiru P. K. Ilango for the proof reading.
