30 Canto 30
51-63 Lines
To the question, "What is ignorance?"
Not understanding what was described so far (the four noble truths etc.) and being deluded
Forgetting what was learnt from having seen and the essence of what was seen
Asking someone if hares have horns and believing them when they say, yes
The three worlds have beings innumerable.
The many beings are of six kinds.
Humans, Devas, Brahmas, Hell beings
Assembly of animals and ghosts
Depending on the two types of our actions - good and bad
We associate with said (the six types of beings) womb
At the appropriate time we take those births.
When the results of our kamma bears fruit
It will be reflected in the mind as great joy or worry.
