Dr. Bodemer
There are very few Vietnamese etymological dictionaries. These are the ones I am aware of:
--Tầm Nguyên Tự Điển. By Lê Văn Hòe, 1942.

--Từ Điển Từ Ngữ Tầm Nguyên : Cổ Văn Học Từ Ngữ và Đển Tích. By Bửu Kế, 1968, 2000.
--Từ Điển Nguồn Gốc Tiếng Việt. By Nguyễn Hy Vọng, San Jose, 2014.

Subject: [Vsg] Viet. Etymological Dictionary
Greetings!
I'm looking for recommendations on a good source for Vietnamese etymology - the origins of words, etc. Does anyone have a good dictionary, or even a website?
Thanks in advance,
Maggie
