subject [Vsg] collaborative writing project on Vietnam's uplands

Dear all,

we are writing to inform you about a collaborative writing project on

Vietnam's uplands.

The purpose of this project is to draw together recent research that

shows Vietnam's uplands as arenas of dynamic international, national

and regional engagement, formation and interdependence. For this

purpose, it brings together a community of emergent scholars who have

recently completed research on Vietnam's uplands. The expectation is

that the collaboration will produce a shared understanding of upland

transformations in Vietnam and suggest new framings for analyses of

montane choices and outcomes beyond Vietnam.

You find further information on the project and contributed papers at

With our best regards,

Nghiem Phuong Tuyen, Jennifer Sowerwine, Jeff Romm, and Thomas Sikor
