Dear VSG,

I feel sadden that it looks like the turtle at Hồ Gươm in Hanoi is reported

dead on Jan 19 at 4.30pm.

RIP cụ rùa :(

That is such a tragedy. Only one great swinhoe turtle left in Vietnam, and

two in captivity in China I think. I had the great chance to see ông rùa

surface just a couple years ago. Such a shame.
