Dear all,
I am trying to locate a copy of the English translation of Nguyen Thi
Binh's memoir, entitled *Family, Friends, and Country

It is unavailable through UC Berkeley's Interlibrary Loan system (ILL

It is freely available in all the bookstores in HCMC which have significant English language sections. It can also probably be ordered directly from the publisher, though I remember seeing somewhere that it had a very small press run, (in English) which is not a surprise. I just read it a few weeks ago and it is well worth your time. Much more documentation that the usual memoir.

I just bought the last copy in Hanoi at Bookworm! I went to the publisher - without success. It's quite a book translated by the ubiquitous Lady Borton. Looking forward to reading it on the plane .
