Dear Daniel:
Thank you very much for sharing this interview. I look forward to
listening to it!
Might I recommend that you use an M3U file in conjunction with the MP3?
An M3U file is a library or "pointer" file that instructs an end user
computer to open their default MP3 player and allows it to play the MP3
file while it downloads. It is kind of like streaming and it allows for
much smoother and easier access to your audio file. As it is now, one
must wait for the entire file to download - which takes quite a while.
We use this kind of system for all of our audio files in our Virtual
Archive - to include very long oral history interviews - and it work
very well.
Let me know if you are interested in doing this and if I may be of
assistance in creating this file. It will be very easy to do.
Thanks again for sharing the interview!
