Anh Thao and all,

I do not do much translation, but I find teh following extremely

interesting:

Ly Lac Nghi and Jim Waters. 1998. Ti`m Ve^` Co^i. Nguo^n` Chu+~ Ha'n

[In searchof the Origins of Chinese Characters Relevant to Vietnamese]. NXB

The^' Gio+'i.

In this dictionary-like publication, each Character is given a full

page,

including a Vietnamese trasnliteration, sample uses of the character in

Vietnamese words, pronounciation in Mandarin, English translation, and

both a pictorial and written entymology. It's a great publication.

Hope you a) find it, and b) find it useful.

Joe Hannah
