Subject: [Vsg] Intelligence in the Vietnam War Conference Videos Online

Dear Colleagues:

On October 20-21, 2006, the Vietnam Center at Texas Tech University co-hosted a conference with the CIA Center for the Study of Intelligence on Intelligence in the Vietnam War. The two-day event featured scholars and intelligence officers who discussed intelligence operations and activities in Vietnam , Laos , Cambodia , Thailand , and the US from 1945 through the 1980s. The keynote speaker, Major General Oleg Kalugin, formerly of the KGB, discussed his work running intelligence operations in the US as the chief of the Soviet Residency in Washington , DC , from 1965 through 1970. Streaming video recordings of the conference presentations are now available online at the Vietnam Archive website.
