Is there a colonial-era periodicals bibliography?

Does anyone know of a more or less complete list/bibliography of all

colonial-era periodicals published in Indochina or just Vietnam? The best

list would show what various library collections possess.

If not, can anyone pay me to compile one showing the currently available

copies in libraries in Vietnam, the US and France?

Just asking!

Paul, this reference book has annotations on Vietnam-published periodicals from the colonial period as well as after:

Nguyen Thanh, Tu dien Thu Tich Bao Chi Viet Nam. Ha Noi: Nha Xuat Ban Van Hoa - Thong Tin, 2001. 745 pages. 80,000 VND.

No library holdings though.

Paul,

There are quite a few guides to the colonial press, such as the one Dan mentioned, but I am not sure to what extent the cover journals, as well as newspapers. This is one that we use in the library for cataloging and checking titles:

Author Hu`ynh, Van Tòng

Title Lich su báo chí Viêt-Nam : t`u khoi thuy dên nam 1930 : tài liêu dành cho sinh viên / Hu`ynh Van Tòng

Pub Info [Saigon?] : Trí Ðang, [1973]

Then there is this:

Author Poitelon, Jean-Claude

Title Catalogue des périodiques vietnamiens de la Bibliothèque nationale : [microform] / par Jean-Claude Poitelon et Nguyen Tat Dac

Pub Info Paris : Bibliothèque nationale, 1993

Edition Éd. sur microfiches
