Subject: [Vsg] Information for book on artist Huynh Phuong Dong

I am working on a book about one of Vietnam's best known artists Huynh

Phuong Dong. He is 82 years old this year and lives in HCMC. The book

will concentrate on his artwork but will also include information on

the subjects of many of the pieces he has painted. He spent most of

his adult life as an NLF soldier which is also reflected in his work.

One of his paintings is titled " Battle of Hero Nguyen Van Tua". He

mentioned the battle for Base Cay Diep.

I would appreciate any information on this battle or Nguyen Van Tua.

Also, a little about how hero titles are awarded.

Thanks, David
