Subject: [Vsg] Blog on Vietnamese economy
Into the mix of APEC-related links sent out this week, may I add
another: a businessman's blog with news
items every day, mostly on the economy.

I learned for the first time that Wal-Mart is currently eyeing Vietnam.
First time too that I heard the
country being called "little India," which made me chuckle.

I read this blog and wonder who is writing this. As a journalist,
it reads like a press release from a sophisticated PR firm. Some
of it was entertaining and informative, but much of it was straight
propaganda, as it were.
Do others have thoughts on this?

Hi,
Doesn't it show that it's the blog of Mike Weston, President of the Wes-Bao Corporation (an Import/Export Agricultural Commodity Trading Company)? Most of the updates are taken from different sources such as VNA, CNN, Reuteurs, AFP... I think he just missed the sources in several pieces of news.
Cheers,
Romi

One look at the title of the site should give you an indication on this question. It reads:
"Chao-Vietnam - NYT > International - BBC News | Asia-Pacific |"
so much, if not all seems to be collected from these sources
cheers
