C-Span 2 has been airing the proceedings of the "Vietnam and the

Presidency" conference held about two weeks ago at the Kennedy Center.

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be on their website yet.

Steve,

Actually, it's C-Span 1 that's been broadcasting the sessions. There will be broadcasts this evening and tomorrow, each beginning at 8:00 p.m. On Monday they aired the Halberstam keynote speech; Tuesday a panel on Presidential tapes and the war; Brian Williams' interview of Jimmy Carter last night, plus a panel on how and why things went wrong with, among others, Kissinger and Haig. This evening they'll show a panel on the media and the war, and finish tomorrow with one on "lessons learned."

I'm sure C-Span will have video streaming, transcripts, etc on the event.

Best,
