"Tap Chi Nghien Cuu" pre-1954

Hi folks,
I recently came across a reference to a journal article published in "Tap Chi Nghien Cuu, so 4, thang 7 1952." The entire article is actually reprinted in a recently-published book. I'm pretty sure it's not a reference to Nghien Cuu Lich Su because the author died in 1953 before the first issue of NCLS in 1954, and I can't find a reference to the article in the NCLS index. The article is explicitly Marxist in its focus and arguments so my guess is that the journal was published in the DRV pre-54, but I can't find reference to it anywhere. Any ideas?

Looks like it could be this: http://www.tapchicongsan.org.vn/details_cd.asp?Object=15549113&News_ID=15550350, one of the predecessors to Tap chi Cong san. The description page indicates that this Tap chi Nghien cuu was the "Cơ quan lý luận của Trung ương Cục miền Nam Đảng Lao động Việt Nam" and that issue 4 was published in July 1952.

My grandfather used to work for Ban nghien cuu Van Su Dia in Viet Bac from 1950-53. You can contact Pro. Van Tao, former director of the Institute of Historical Studies, for more details of publications of this department.
