I. Archives en Inde
En 2001, j'ai pu me rendre à New Delhi pour faire des recherches sur les relations diplomatiques de l'Inde avec le Vietnam, le Laos et le Cambodge. Je vous signale ceci car il est désormais possible de consulter certains fonds du Ministère des Affaires étrangères à New Delhi. Et certains fonds me semblaient très intéressants.
Pour y accéder:
Il faut une lettre d'introduction de votre université ou de votre institut de rattachement
Il faut une lettre de soutien de votre ambassade à New Delhi.
In 2001, I went to New Delhi where I was able to conduct research on India's diplomatic relations with Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia. It is now possible to consult a number of files groupings in the Archives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in New Delhi. Some are very interesting.
To consult this archive:
You need a letter of introduction from your university or your institution
You need a letter of support from your Embassy in New Delhi

II. Archives aux Philippines
Je vous signale aussi qu'il existe apparemment des fonds aux Philippines concernant le Vietnam, le Laos et le Cambodge. Ces fonds se trouvent dans les archives de la Bibliothèque Nationale à Manille. Je n'ai pas pu y aller pour consulter ces fonds.
I would also note that there are file holdings on VLC in the Philippines. These file groupings are in the archives of the National Library in Manila. In the end, I did not get to go to Manila to look at them.

III. La République tchèque/Czech Republic
Lors d'une visite à Prague en 2000, j'ai pu consulter des documents en français dans les archives du MAE et du Parti tchèque concernant le Vietnam.
Ces fonds sont ouverts au publique, du moins quand je suis allé.
During a visit to Prague in 2000, I was able to consult documents in French in the Czech Party and MFA archives on Vietnam.
For those who know Czech (I don't), the documentation seems to be enormous on VLC.
Pour ceux qui connaissent le tchèque, la documentation semble être très importante sur le VLC.
IV. Archives en Allemagne/Archives in Germany
Bien que je ne connaisse pas suffisamment bien l'allemand pour m'en servir, les archives de l'ex Allemagne de l'Est contiennent des fonds extraordinaires sur le Vietnam, le Laos et le Cambodge à partir des années 1950.
While I do not know German well enough to exploit these file holdings, the archives of former East Germany contain extraordinary documentation on Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia from the 1950s.

Je pense qu'il serait intéressant d'avoir plus de renseignements sur les archives dans ces pays asiatiques et européens. Je serais prêt à faire circuler tout renseignement au sujet de ces archives peu connues.
Je pense aux archives polonaise (ICC?), hongroises, roumaines, thaïes, indonésiennes, etc. portant sur le VLC.
I think it would be very interesting to have more information on these archives in Asia and Europe. I would be more than happy to circulate the information on these archives which are not so well known. I'm thinking of the Polish (ICC?), Rumanian, Thai, Indonesian archives on VLC.
Et les archives canadiennes (ICC, etc) ???
