Anticipatory Set (3 min.)
Starter: Students will take their starter quiz based on last weeks starters.
Direct Instruction (5 min.)
SDAIE: Model: Roman Empire Test: Teacher will go over the test taking strategies and explain again how to access their test on Edulastic. Students who completed their homework last nigh, Roman Empire Review, will be allowed to use their worksheet on the test.
Guided Practice (x min.)
SDAIE: Progress Monitoring: Roman Empire Test: Teacher will walk around the room to make sure students are on task taking the test and not opening up new windows/tabs.
Independent Practice (35 min.)
SDAIE: Metacognition: Roman Empire Test: Students will complete their Roman Empire test. Once they are done they are to work on any missing assignment from this unit, their homework if they have headphones, or assignments from other classes.
