SDAIE: VIP’s/Video Clip: Bermuda Triangle: Teacher will discuss some VIP’s about the Bermuda triangle like its location and myth from fact. Students will take notes and share with class. Teach will clarify.

SDAIE: TPS: Bermuda: Latitude/Longitude: Teacher will call on volunteers to go up to the screen and locate the coordinates on the map. Students will check their answers teacher will explain how they arrived at the answer.
Independent Practice (35 min.) You Do…
SDAIE: Bermuda Triangle: Students will plot 5 coordinates of missing vessels and planes using their Lines of latitude and longitude. Students will then form a hypothesis on the existence of the Bermuda Triangle based on the 5 coordinates that they mapped. They will discover that the coordinates are outside the Triangle leaving students to question the mystery of the Bermuda Triangle and discussing with their group why this is happening.
SDAIE: TPS: Geography Test Review: Students will work on geography questions dealing with continents, Pangea, latitude and longitude, and finding points on a map. All information on the test review will one way or another show up on the test on friday.
