SDAIE: Close Read: Pangea: Teacher will lead class in a class read of the Pangea. As teacher stops the class will read the word left off by the teacher in a voice level of 2.

SDAIE: Annotate/Talk to Text: Pangea: Teacher will lead students on how to annotate the reading as the teacher models talk to text.

SDAIE: Cornell Notes: Pangea: Students will transfer their annotations into Cornell Notes.
SDAIE: QuickWrite: Students will write a brief summary explaining how Pangea shifted to the world we have today. They will have to include 4 terms from the key words in their explanation.
SDAIE: Book to Paper: Students will label a world map using the textbook. they will label the 7 continents and the names of the 5 oceans.
Process will go slower to reteach procedures along the way and how to complete assignments. Reteaching expectations.
