Daily Journal: Read today's passage of "This day in history" and identify the 5 W's by highlighting the passage and finally answering the Essential Question.

8th Grade-SDAIE: TPS: Madison & Monroe Review: Students will have 10 minutes to continue working on their review graphic organizer from yesterday. Assignment should've been done. Students who are finished will utilize that time to study.

Independent Practice (22 min.)
8th Grade-SDAIE: Metacognition/CER: Madison and Monroe: Students will complete the test. Once they are done with the multiple choice section they will answer the two short response questions using the CER method.
