SDAIE: Discuss: Colonization : Teacher will break down the video clip dealing with the colonization of the Maya and the impact it had. We will discuss the idea of colonization and determine it morality of it. (7th Grade)

SDAIE: TPS/CER: Roanoke's Mystery: Students will gather information and write down a quick summary of the new evidence that has been uncovered about what really happened to the colony of Roanoke. Students will decide if the information presented to them is enough to change what history has told us about Roanoke or should we change the information. (8th Grade)
SDAIE: Monitor: Balloon Globe: Students will work in pairs to complete their globe. They will label the continents, cut out the continents and then paste them on the balloon. (7 Grade)
