7.6.3: Understand the development of feudalism, its role in the medieval European economy, the way in which it was influenced by physical geography, and how feudal relationships provided the foundation of political order.
7.6.5: Know the significance of developments in medieval English legal and constitutional practices and their importance in the rise of modern democratic thought and representation.
Expected Student Outcomes (Objective)
Today I am learning about the end of feudalism by:
1. Understanding the reasons for the fall of Constantinople.
2. being Assessed on the cause and affect of the end of feudalism.

Anticipatory Set (5 min.) Google Classroom: Students will open get their Chromebooks out and open up their assignment through KAMI and be ready to go over the explanation of the Bubonic Plague.
Direct Instruction (5 min.)
SDAIE: Direct Teach/Mini Lecture: Bubonic Plague: Teacher will provide a mini lecture on the Bubonic Plague dealing with the origins, symptoms, and impact it had during the Middle Ages.
Guided Practice (5 min.)
SDAIE: Model: Middle Ages Test: Teacher will go over the test taking procedures as they get ready to open up their Middle Ages test through Pear Assessment.
Independent Practice (30 min.)
SDAIE: Sentence Stems/VBQ/Video Clip: Fall of Constantinople : Students will watch a video clip to help them answer the Video Based Questions. They will be given sentence stems for each of the questions. Students will have 10 minutes to answer the questions.
SDAIE: Metacognition: Feudalism Test : Students will take a test on the origins, impact and end of feudalism. Test will be administered using the PearDeck website to track their progress and collect data.
