If you elect a military man

If you elect a military man

By Tarif Youssef-Agha

If you elect a military man to be a president

Then you are immature, no doubt about it

And you deserve to be stepped on

And to keep living that way

You deserve to be used to mop the floor with

And your head is used to be dragged on mud

And if you like to know your classification

Then look for it among the trash

Don’t forget to look for it among the rats

And don’t forget to look among the goons

People like you are like those who made Pharaoh a Pharaoh

And made him walk and brag like a peacock

If oppression is painful

Then, ignorance is almost a killer

The truth which no two people argue about is that

‘Those who support a thug must be thugs’

The oppressor will not depart until

He eliminates the people and turns the country into ruins

He is mixed with hatred and viciousness, and that is why

He adores massacres, regardless what he says

All those who support him are his partners

It doesn’t matter whether they know it or not

They are the ones who legalize his crimes

They, sooner or later, will be brought to justice with him
