And The Forth Has Started

And The Forth Has Started

The Third year has passed and the forth has started

While my country is still sitting on the throne of blood

A tragedy of a nation is going on in front of the globe

The whole globe is watching and hearing our tragedy

Every one is either weeping or pretending to weep for us

But when were the tears capable of stopping massacres?

Tears were always nothing but an indication of weakness

But also a good way to fool others

Tears have no consideration in politics

Their place in politics is on the margin

No one sees benefit in stopping our suffering

It is a fact that became as clear as a shining sun

The world is divided into countries which don’t dare to help

And countries which want to have control over us

Those who lie to us are worse than those who fight us

Even though they all belong to the same band

Oh Syria, don’t be sad, as the revolution was a must

Revolutions always rewrite the history

Don’t be sad, as tragedies are the tests of nations

Only the great ones emerge shining

A gang shouldn’t stay ruling forever

And a free nation shouldn’t stay weeping forever

Three years ago, we reclaimed dignity

Before that, we were a nation drinking from humiliation
