An Anthem for the Syrian Revolution

The Victory is here

Our foreheads adore the victor’s laurel

Our mountains will not stay with them

And our Sham (Damascus city) will return to us

Homs (city) will be rebuilt

And Shahba (Aleppo city) will hold up the flags (of victory)

Daraa (city) will keep reminding us that

Bringing the laughing faces back to our children is our responsibility

Do not believe the promises of the dictator

His promises are just like a void currency

Do not believe the words of our enemies

Their words are not made for (the benefit of) our country

Believe the blood of our martyrs

As the one who sheds our blood can not be from our people

Believe our olive trees

As the one who burns our trees can not be from our people

We will again rebuild our country

And we will again replant our land

The Victory is here
