They Compared the Traitor to the Dog’s Tail
They Compared the Traitor to the Dog’s Tail
By Tarif Yoyssef Agha
They compared the traitor to the dog’s tail,
The dog objected and the tail trembled in anger
The dog is a creature that is best known for its fidelity,
But the traitor is a creature who has nothing to be proud of
The dog’s tail keeps the flies away from the butt,
But the traitor brings calamites to his country
The dog was, and still is, the best friend of the human beings,
But the traitor sets his country on fire
Other presidents brag about their successes serving their countries,
That president failed even in being compared to a dog’s tail
Other presidents brag about bringing dignity to their countries,
That president drank from the fountain of treason
He became a subject of disrespect, even to his close allies,
A man who gave his country to the enemy shouldn’t expect any better
One compares him to a tail and the other to a servant,
They have nothing good to say about him
Saying that he is like a dog’s tail is the least to say about him,
And executing him is the least his people should do
He gave the homeland to the Persians and Russians,
And his father was the one who ran away from the Golan (and gave it to Israel)
One hair from the dog’s tail is more honorable than
The one who made his people refugees and burned his country
Oh dog’s tail, don’t be angry,
Your shame will go away when the traitor goes away

Bashar Assad said lately that he would not listen to any one, even his closest allies, referring to Putin. A Russian newspaper said the next day that (the dog’s tail) doesn’t move the dog; the doge moves its tail.
