The "Hero" wants to return

After 9 months of a bloody revolution that cost the Syrian people thousands of martyrs, injured and detainees, and like that was not bad enough, here is the person who earned the worst reputation in the modern times of Syria suddenly appearing on the screens of TV. He tried, on one hand, to clear himself from the massacres, scandals and robberies that were connected to his name in the near past and to blame it on others. He, on the other hand, offered his readiness to return to Syria to help stop the blood bathes.

The “Hero” wants to return

I’m the “Hero”, would you love me?

By Tarif Youssef Agha

The “Hero” said he will return to the homeland

Because his role is not over yet!

But we have few words to say to the “Hero”

That he may not like

***

He claims he used to be the man of the law

And the guard and protector of the foundations and rights

That he is not afraid of appearing in courts

As he is, and always was, the knight and judge of justice

That he had nothing to do with crime and killing

He was the master of forgiveness and mercy

That he was the supporter of the needy and poor

Look how faith is dyeing his beard and dropping from it

Whereas the doctorate he carries, he says

Always kept him busy developing and building collages

And it also made him a pride of the higher studies

Without him, all studies would be gone all together

He was a man that even “The sheriff of Mecca” is not a good enough job for him

But if becoming a Prophet is available, he will accept it

He claims he is the father of chivalry, rightfulness and devotions

In brief, he thinks that he is the highest symbol of nationalism

***

We have to apologies to our hero

As we don’t think that the roles he played have been forgotten yet

The roles he played were of a “heavy, heavy weight”

The generations will keep talking about them for centuries to come

Those roles started from bombarding inhabited cities

Then burning and turning them upside down

Also committing massacres in the prisons

And flooding the sewers with blood

Holding brief trials and performing execution according to the ID’s

He appointed himself, both, the judge and the executioner

Also, digging mass graves that

Don’t match any but those of the Nazis

Let’s here not forget his armed gangs

That he unleashed to terrorize the nation

Gangs that he gave national names

Even thought they never did anything their names mean

Names that mean defending the homeland

But in reality, they were the thieves of the homeland

And let’s bring back his stories of rape

Only those of Tamerlane match them

Who believes that the (French) colonial respected the head scarf?

But our macho hero didn’t

Then there is a lot to say about smuggling currency and antiquities

He proudly was the country’s greatest smuggler

He didn’t leave any crime he did NOT commit

If the Mafia wants to form a state, our hero will be its leader

Even his relatives couldn’t trust him; they excelled him to Europe

At the coasts of Europe, he invested the wealth of our homeland

Roles and roles and roles

No matter how much we talk about them, it won’t be enough

Roles that have no blood relation to chivalry

Even disgrace doesn’t want anything to do with him

If history decides to document his roles, it will be with letters of shame

If shame was a snake, our hero will be for sure its head

If the devil looks into the mirror one day

The face of our hero will be all that he will see
