In The Killing of a Thug: Hilal Al-Assad
Bashar Al-Assad’s cousin was killed March 23, 2014 in a fighting-zone in Syria
By Tarif Youssef Agha
We celebrated when our heroes liberated Kassab (city) from you
And we celebrated even more when your Hilal was killed
A criminal who made raping and shedding of blood legal
And who, for generations, terrorized and rubbed the Syrian coast
He made a lot of people orphans and widows
And stole a lot of fortunes
A serial-killer cousin of a butcher dictator
Every one of them drank from our blood
A gang that has evil running in its veins
And a family of which Satan wishes to be a member
You swore to turn Syria into a Holocaust
But today you became as wood in its flames
You swore to burn the homeland and burn us
Therefore, we swore to surprise you with what we can do
And to make your bad intention to harm us go back to harm you
And to make every house of yours a place for mourning on you
Oh fools, this is a Peoples’ Revolution
I don’t see any survival for you except for the one who flees
That Revolution will fall on you as burning meteors
Who can confront meteors face to face?
And its fire will enter your homes as volcano lava
Who dare to challenge an angry volcano?
It will wash you away to your graves as a flood
The flood doesn’t offer any apology or reason for what it causes
No, we will never forgive you or have mercy on you
And we will never forgive the whole world, foreigners or Arabs
We will not shake hands with those who promised to help us but didn’t
And those who sold us lies and filled us with speeches
The whole world is united today against our nation
A nation which engaged with pride since the dawn of History
And always humiliated both, invaders and dictators
And erased the word (give up) from its dictionary
Yesterday was Assef (another Assad family member killed previously), today is Hilal
And tomorrow, your president will follow them to hell as well
Oh revolution of freedom, keep delivering us such good news
Such news is worth purest gold
