Lamenting Fatima Al-Meghlaj
On Sunday September 16, 2012, the Syrian regime air force fighters shelled the village of Kafr-Oaid in Idleb province, North West Syria, killing a lot of civilians. Among the martyrs was the 4 year old Fatima Al-Meghlaj who was found headless.

The world has no more heads

Fatima sacrificed her head
So Syrians can raise theirs
And they can exit decades of darkness
In which they drank cups of humiliation
Decades in which dogs behaved as if they were lions
And rulers were worshiped as if they were gods
Decades in which all the deeds were against all the laws
And were against what Mohammad, Jesus and Moses said
Syria today is teaching a lesson to others
A lesson to who can understand
‘When a dictator rises, the country should be alarmed’
‘When minority rules, the people will end under the feet’
Fatima passed away by the hand of a savage regime
A regime which doesn’t know how to use anything but axes
She passed away and left behind her
People who are paying their souls for freedom
Oh Fatima, do not be sad, as your killer is not Syrian
He rather looks like the ancient Iranians
And the powers of evil are united behind him
The evil nowadays looks like Persians and Russians
Oh Fatima, you became a bride while you were just a child
You will be received in heaven as a bride
Your head will be a moon that will light up our path
Your memory will be guarded in our heart
