I Will Tell You What Happened to Syria

I will tell you what happened to Syria
Because the Syrians requested Freedom, they were buried alive
They started a peaceful revolution by marching and chanting
When the Arab Spring gave them hope to reclaim dignity
But the butcher (Assad) confronted them with guns and tanks
To justify his crimes, the oppressor claimed he was fighting terrorism
Many of his troops deserted him and made the ‘Free Syrian Army’
They managed to liberate half of the country from him
The immature oppressor then lost his mind
He and his thugs were controlled by the killing-madness
He asked for the help of the butchers of Chechnya, the Russians
He traded with them our oil for their guns
Then he surrendered the country to Iran to protect him from his people
He sold Syria to Iran, for the sake of staying in power
His father, before him, sold the (Syrian) Golan Heights (to Israel)
He was rewarded by giving him Lebanon and Al-Qunitura (city)
Lately, he inserted ISIS and its groups in the revolution
In order to keep the story of terrorism alive
He erased whole cities from the map
His crimes resulted in catastrophes and calamities
He slaughtered, burned and forced the people to flee
He did all that while the whole world didn’t move, as it is deaf and blind
The people in the tents were killed by cold and hunger
Also they were swallowed by the sea when they boarded the boats of death
Millions of victims, who were killed, injured or forced to immigrate
Still, the world is offering promises, plans and lies
And is still saying that the solution is “political”, the situation is “complicated”
But also is still warning not to arm the revolution
Because of all that, Syria became how it is today
Instead of having freedom, it became a graveyard for its people
The blood of its people became the drink of all the world’s monsters
The chests of its people became the inkwell of all the world’s swords
If it was in my hand, I would rename the ‘Security Council’
I would call it ‘The Council of Jokes’
And I would present to the United Nation a resolution to approve;
That all its members should lay down so they could be stepped on by shoes
I conclude my story by accusing the whole world
Without any exception, that it is a partner in the massacre
