After You, Your Excellency

After You, Your Excellency

An Egyptian song with a Syrian flavor (to the ousted Hosni Mubarak)

After you, Your Excellency, it is payback-time

After you, Your Excellency, talk to the Youth!

After you, Your Excellency

The Youth are waiting for you at the door

The jail of Turra will be blessed by you

As it was blessed by Jamal, Alaa and all your beloved

The jail of Turra is now the home of you and your companions

You don’t even deserve to be the servants of the prisoners

***

You came from the war of October (1973)

Why did you join the thieves, the bullies and the trash?

How many times have we told you?

We hate Israel, but we love Gaza.

And why did you send to the Tahreer square

Camels and donkeys, ridden by a bunch of dogs

Dummy, where did you get that bright idea from?

You really need a charm for protection!

***

Oh man, you were a claw for injustice

Until we challenged you and became the fangs for the justice

Damn you; you were the worst of all the traitors

We learned how love our country since kindergarten

We took a lot of beating from you and your bullies

You starved, humiliated and jailed us

We will never forget that you filled the jails with us

But the jail doesn’t scare those who love freedom

But, at the end, we forced all of you to leave

And took a blessing from God for that
