In The Wedding
Attending the wedding of Katie and Ryan Baumgartner

I drove to the Ranch today,
From far, far away,
To witness Wedding in its Best

To witness Katie and Ryan,
Just like Love-Birds,
Starting their Love-Nest
***
If I have to portray the sight that day,
I would simply say,
To the eye, it was a charming Fest
***
El Sueno Ranch was magically outstanding,
It looked like a product of Paradise deciding,
In a land on Earth to Invest
***
The Majestic Ranch was the wedding site,
Mother Nature showed Beauty and Might,
In a Spring-Custom, she proudly Dressed
***
The Moon was watching from the sky,
To the happy couple, saying ‘Hi’,
And giving company to the Rest
***
When darkness arrived in Hunt,
The Moon sneaked down to the pond,
Even though, he was not a Guest
***
While everyone was enjoying the night,
My pen ordered me to write,
Poetry has no time to Rest
***
Oh Katie and Ryan,
Your ten years of Love,
Were indeed, not a Waste
***
For all those years,
You both enjoyed,
The Love’s sweet Taste
***
If Love became a “He”,
Your Love-Story would be,
A Medal on his Chest
***
But marriage is a different world,
It is, in a plain word,
Like putting Love to the Test
***
I got married thirty years ago,
So before I let you go,
I have to make a Request
***
Marriage is an Expedition,
Besides Love, you have a Mission,
Make Wisdom your Quest
***
