Hamilton’s first summer 4pm Tuesday DF65 session was right in the middle of a cyclone. We tucked tight in the bay and tied the gazebo down to my van. Thanks to Nigel A we had some marks to thrown into the lake and the DF65s were rigged and ready to go. Right on 4pm we had a dozen Hamilton skippers roll in to have a go in these trying conditions. They were perfect for some fun sailing, especially the nose diving downwind leg. Everyone seemed to enjoy the session, even with the pouring rain. The new skippers picked up DF65 racing so fast, it was amazing. 6.15pm and the cold and shivering skippers called it a day. Thanks so much to everyone who attended. Next Tuesday we have a few more boats booked to attend so onwards and upwards. Hope you can make it to a Lake Hamilton Tuesday 4pm session soon. All the best NZL104
