Smaller fleet at The Bus Stop

Eight boats today in a light NW breeze that swung more North necessitating a course change. Interestingly that upset Adrian 136 as he kept sailing to the wrong wing mark. After about a dozen races he got it, then promptly packed it in and went home for a lie down. Just shows the pressure some of these top sailors are under.

Nigel no Number came out of the blocks to win the first race, then in the next race had a gear failure and sailed around in circles until he was giddy that had to be rescued by Rescue 1. So Nigel went home for a lie down.

Then Harry 433 stepped up and sailed a blinder for a very satisfying win. This is great stuff to report on, however Nigel 168 brought us back to reality with a heap of wins in a row. Every time someone got out front, he just wore them down with pressure to take those wins.

The RTW race is the highest test we have. Pete 179 just made it to the finish ahead of Nigel 168 and chose going to the right. Nigel 168 had the pressure on, but in the end couldn't get passed so Pete 179 took the win. The rest of us then went home for a lie down.

Another fun day of interesting sailing.

A few photos today as I was too busy trying to pass Nigel 168.
