A pleasant session in the sun at The Bus stop.
Eleven boats on the line and ready to race were the scene on the lake today.
A light easterly kept us on our toes trying to avoid the holes. Nigel tested our patience with his course. The dreaded No4 buoy was there to keep us alert.
Peter P 248 has just returned from holiday. I don't know what he was up to on his break, but it certainly had a positive effect on his sailing. He peeled off a number of wins then took out two RTW's then went home for a cuppa tea and a lie down. Nigel 168 won the other RTW by a fine margin.
Note to sailors:
On Thursday please hold your boats out of the water so that we can make an announcement before we start racing. This is an important change to the way we operate in future.
Only a photo of the star today.
