Blimey, there was a crowd of DF65's at The Bus Stop.
15 boats turned out today for some excellent racing in a moderate northerly breeze that took us around the notorious No 8 buoy where there was sometimes a big hole waiting. That area was the downfall of a few skippers if they weren't planning ahead.
Staring between 3 & 4 had its moments with some getting away nicely on port in a fresh breeze, while the others struggled for a gap in the traffic at the other end.
The racing today was very competitive, often a small group of two or three would break away from the pack and open up a big lead, while the rest battled it out for the scraps.
Lester 17 again put in a top performance sneaking away to some excellent wins. Well done Lester.
We rattled off a lot of races due to the nice breeze and finished the day with the usual three RTW's.
These were won by Nigel 168, Mak 488, and Rod 501 in the thrilling unidirectional RTW.
Plenty of photos today, so enjoy.
