The heat as on at The Bus Stop

Summer has really kicked in meaning oodles of sunblock are being used by us sailors to combat skin damage to the skin that has already been damaged over our lifespan. That didn't stop thirteen keen skippers from showing up, and that included Jeff no number on his golf cart.

Nigel 168 set a testing course designed to minimise collisions, but there still were a few. The breeze was swinging to the W from NW and he gave us a top mark in a hole that sometimes created mayhem.

Racing was keen to say the least, with postage stamp finishes in many of the races. I heard the phrase 'don't give up until the race is over' on a number of occasions and those who didn't that were occasionally rewarded.

As usual in such a competitive group, wins were shared nicely.

The keenly fought RTW races that ended the day went to Pat 39 and Pete 179. Another wonderful day's fun racing at The Bus Stop.
