A grey old afternoon it turned out to be at Tauriko today. Rain threatened, but only amounted to one little light shower. The Easterly breeze coming over the knob was really stirred up close to the shore. That proved to the opportunity spot for us racers.

Nice to welcome David 61 from Wattle Farms and Garry 54 from Papamoa to enjoy our lake and company with a bit of good racing thrown in. We had eight on the water today.

We sailed a couple of courses that varied the conditions giving everyone a turn on the Podium. Really competitive racing today with a lot of very tight finishes.

Reports could be rare next week as I'm on another assignment, then again another skipper might put pen to paper.

It might be a good time to do a bit of fine tuning as the weather over the next couple of days doesn't look good.
