DF65's at The Bus Stop.

A nice brisk winter day greeted ten DF65 sailors today .

Not easy setting a good course to suit oscillating and varying wind conditions.

However, we had a reasonable couple of beats to windward, a run, and a couple of reaches  that had passing lanes.

2, possibly 12 knots at times, swinging all round the compass.

All in all, most handled the trying conditions well, with everyone having their moments of glory.

We had a visit from John 611 ( Papamoa), winning first and last races as well as helping with rules,

and identifying them on the water, much appreciated thanks John.

Clive 997 appeared at one stage, freshly back from his long escapade around the south island.

Nice to hear you were enjoying the reports while on tour. Welcome home Clive.

Roll on King of the day next  Monday at The Bus Stop starting 1:00pm sharp.

don't be shy, only your mates will be sailing. A rigs only.

Thank you for your report Nigel 168.

I was feeling OK so I went to the lake for some very fresh air, a walk,

and to take a few photos of your great little boats performing their magic.

I took some from a new angle on the path to the IOM jetty, so enjoy them.
