Recently I said in my report that we were hanging out for a bit of wind,
well today we got it.
SW right down the lake.
We tucked our sailing in the corner using only five marks,
but the downwind run was a little bit exposed and that shows in the photos.
We had a great day of heavy weather sailing with some good chop thrown in.
Skippers did well to sail their little boats round the course,
sometimes in survival mode.
No breakages and lots of happy faces.
Talking to Nigel,
he thought there may only be a couple of boats sailing.
Thanks to the seven skippers turning out we enjoyed an interesting afternoon of heavy weather boat handling.
Multiple winners today.
Bring on some more of that.
