More breeze at The Bus Stop

Ten boats arrived on a beautiful sunny day to race a little more seriously. Today we had an impromptu scoring day so skippers could experience the results in readiness for the Burnsco DF65 Champs coming up on Easter Friday at Matata Lagoon. Today's score sheet is below and shows some interesting scores.

We had a moderate westerly that gave Nigel 168 the opportunity to set a different course to what has been our norm. Racing was hot and wins were hard to get. Tim 139 threw everything at it mid series to grab three good wins in a row. We talked about consistent performance before racing and that is exactly what Pat 39 did to win today's series, well done Pat.

Nice to hear some help and advice being given and received between skippers today on tuning and sailing our tricky little boats. They certainly test our ability at times to get the best out of them

RTW's were keenly contested as usual with Rob 501, Pete 179 and Kent 717 managing wins.

Sorry no photos today, I was too tied up in the scoring.

Thanks for coming

Pete 179
