Eleven keen starters at The Bus Stop this afternoon in a hot SW varying strength breeze, a nice sight indeed.

Nice to have some friendly visitors from Papamoa testing their skills. The varying strength of the wind made lots of opportunities for passing. Big holes were sometimes worth sailing around. Races were won by skippers looking up the course and placing their boats to take advantage of new wind.

Lots of happy winners today showing just how competitive our fleet is becoming. Keep it up.

Christmas is getting close, but that won't stop us sailing. keep coming to the lake as someone will be there to race with.

Nigel 168 is off up North for a break, so, a big thank you goes to Nigel for all of the race control and advice he has provided during the year for us DF 65 sailors. Every week he is there with all the race control gear just doing the work. Well done Nigel.

See a heap of you on Thursday as it's the last racing here before Christmas.
