DF65's At The Bus Stop
Another cracker day to be at the lake even though we had light breezes again. It's hard to know why you wouldn't want to be there. Numbers were down, but those of us who were on the water had a ball. Good discussions on tuning, a bit of rules, boats being swapped and a bit of serious sailing thrown in just to see if the fine tuning was effective.
Tim 888 was having difficulty getting his boat to go. Some help with sail settings lit his boat up, he was off like a rocket and won some races, well done Tim 888. Then Tim 139 had a bit of the same treatment and also took off to be right amongst the action.
Graeme and Keith swapped boats as Keith was having difficulty seeing his No 127. Using the Yellow 122 Keith was deadly, as he got round the course without hitting and marks. Well done Keith. Perhaps a HiViz racing strip on 127 might provide an advantage.
Tim 139 and Graeme 122 had a sail of the Dragon boat and gave me a few pointers on how to get it going a bit quicker.
Wind was light and mainly from the north.
